I trekked up to Harlem with a crew in tow to check out a spot I’ve heard has a KILLER lamb burger. Thankfully for us, the brunch deal at the incredibly spacious Harlem Tavern is CRAZYYYYYYYYYYY.

For $15 large ones you get an entree, coffee or tea and a mimosa, Bloody Mary or draft beer. With that kind of price tag we all had an entree and two drinks. Harlem Tavern has a large brunch menu so let me help you make some decisions. The Croquet Madame with fries (or sweet potato fries) will fill you up and you’ll only be able to eat half.
The lamb burger is cooked to perfection, something that not ever chef can get right. Skip the bread dishes though. This time around my French toast and pancakes were a little dry, but the flavors warrant a return visit at an hour where the kitchen ISNT closing to reopen for dinner.
Here’s a sneak at the dinner menu’s chicken quesadilla, a nice hearty option THAT COMES WITH GUAC ALREADY. Extra points awarded.
This place is awesome for happy hour, sports teams, large parties, and big families looking for kid and family friendly places to eat. The indoor heated patio has large tables and picnic style tables set up, while inside shows off cozy booths and a long bar with tons of big screen TVs for your sports viewing pleasure.
