Okay so I just wanted to treat myself and I wound up st Anella, another one of Greenpoint’s many restaurant gems. Right on Franklin, this spot is clutch for great wines and great food.
I started out with a bottle of Lambrusco (WHICH IS ALSO AVAILABLE BY THE GLASS!!) and it was soooooo good. Great vintage, perfect palette.
To start, I had the burrata plate CAUSE BURRATA. Let me tell y’all that as I’m typing this, as full as I am, I am SALIVATING thinking about how good it was. Oh. My. God. The mint and peas paired with create a beautiful balance to the richness and the beets easily get you ready for a second bite.
I opted for a burger and fries as my main because 1. Duh I love burgers and 2. BACON. JAM.
LISTEN HERE. IF YOU ORDER THIS BURGER EITHOUT BACON JAM I CAN NO LONGER HSVE YOU AS A FOLLOWER/FRIEND/ASSOCIATE/FAMILY MEMBER.
It’s that serious.
For dessert I had a nice little slice of cake with peaches and fresh cream fraise.
It was quite a delicious meal.
